People Standing About is a lithograph featuring Lowry’s iconic figures in an everyday setting. Lowry is a celebrated Northern artist and this print is a rare example based on his original watercolour painting capturing people going about their lives with a close view that draws the viewer in, and an industrial setting gently created in the background to emphasise the perspective.
