Cancer the Crab is a water sign and relates to the Moon. Cancer is most noted for the globular star cluster of Praesepe or the 'Beehive'.

Rivers focuses on silver, tints of white and pale blues to make a subdued, translucent and ghostly image, whose surface appears oily and melting. The stars pop up in high relief through the paint film. This palely shining image has a metallic and almost icy quality.
