Our design CORALS is a limited edition (1/24) glicee hi res print. This art is an enhancement of an original industrial point paper, that was only painted in a half repeat. Our print imagines what the full repeat would look like when woven into fabric of numerous coloured thread.

The original 'art' was a technical drawing for the creation of punched loom cards for the Jacquard loom. It was drawn up by Edward Smith the owner of commision weaver E&S Smith who in 1947, when this textile point paper was drawn up, were based in Aireworth Mills, Keighley. The weavers customer was A. L Wilkinson, a wholesaller of furnishing fabrics based in Bradford.
