I very much enjoyed emersing myself in J.R Tolkien's worlds as a child and this painting is influenced by the Hobbit. My career has been spent building Sci-fi and Fantasy worlds, exploring them through my painting as I would explore a new place in real-life. Here I have tried to add drama, inviting the viewer to explore the composition.
