This study is from the series I painted during the summer in the mountains of central Spain. I wanted to depict the oppressive, hazy days of a heatwave, and the sparse pools of shade offered by the trees.

This painting is finished with a UV protective satin varnish and is framed in solid, natural wood tray frame, ready to hang.
