From my series exploring the interaction between strong geometric shapes, complimentary colours and carefully placed composition,
Figure on Devil’s Bridge brings together inspiration from Devil’s Bridge in Gablenz, Germany, and my own Fantasy themes. Designed to be a statement piece, it brings to life the kind of Sci-Fi and Fantasy worlds I love to create, exploring them through my painting as I would familiarise myself with a new place in real life. I included the figure on the bridge to add an element of mystery, provoking the viewer to bring their own meaning to the painting.
