Libra the Scales links to water and the planet Venus. Libra is associated with balance, harmony, and aesthetics. The symbol of the scales is based on the Scales of Justice held by Themis, the Greek personification of divine law and custom.

Rivers delivers a delicate arrangement of pastel blues and pinks that weave around a shimmering gold circle. The colour field is spotted with glistening gold stars. In certain areas scads and clots of intense blues and sandy earths build up contrasting, impasto passages.
