				Our framed original jacquard point paper is from Lyons, France.
The work details the instructions for weave development of a lace design. The technicians hand written notes can be seen on the face along with interesting notations depicting the loom setting information. On the reverse of the art is a company stamp and the stamp of local Chamber Syndicate. The painting was drawn up in the Gaillard Studio, Place Morand in Lyon on 6th April 1928. A production number 2537 is also stamped on the reverse of the framed work.
The name of the weaver is unknown. This original French art from the city of Lyon, where Monsieur Jacquard invented his revolutionary weaving machine in 1801, is a fabulous example of rarley seen craftsmanship of the weaving industry in this famous weaving city.
