This study was painted from a favourite viewpoint from my house in central Spain. I love the dark puddles of shade from the trees, in such stark contrast with the sun on the dry grass. I tried to capture the rich colour of the Mediterranean pines, so defiantly green in the relentless heat.

This painting is finished with a UV protective satin varnish and is framed in a natural wooden tray frame, ready to hang.
