Captured in May 2024, during my first-ever trip to New York.  It was the beginning of a longer journey, a road trip from New York to New Orleans, but the time in the city left a powerful impression. 

At first glance, this image is bold and graphic - symmetry, scale, contrast and clean lines. But it also asks for a moment of contemplation. There’s a particular satisfaction in its construction, and something deeper at play - an invitation to consider the lives, systems, and experiences unfolding within the stacked forms of a high-rise city.

This piece is part of my DARKNESS & LIGHT collection, and feels both grounded and expansive an architectural echo with emotional depth.
