Stanage Edge 1 is from my series of paintings based on Northern landscapes. Situated north of Hathersage in the Peak District with stunning views across the Dark Peak moorlands, it is a place I spent much of my teenage years roaming so created an idealised and vivid depiction of Stanage Edge at sunset.
