From my Translations Collection.  Paintings inspired but reconnecting with simple experiences in a new way.  This series was creats when I returned to live in the UK after 8 Years in Serbia.  I was deeply moved by the connections to my past and at the same time the newness of being here now.  

Underneath is about looking deeper at nature, at the beauty of the forms captured in tree bark or flower petals.  As well as these forms I wanted to gt a sense of looking deeply into something like a pool of water.  seeing both the surface and what lies underneath.
