Blue Distance captures the quiet presence of distant hills beyond the water, softened by a gentle, muted palette of blues and greens. Layers of paint and textured marks, particularly in the foreground, bring a sense of movement and depth to the landscape. The painting invites the viewer to look outwards, breathe and find a moment of stillness within the openness of the scene.
