This painting depicts a steep street corner of old Madrid, segmented into the shapes made by sunlight and shadow on the buildings. The composition is bold but balanced, with delicate lines that feel like a blueprint, and the limited palette feels clean and elegant. The painting is finished with a UV protective satin varnish, and is set off perfectly in a brown-black, solid wood frame, ready to hang.
