CONTEMPLATION
120 x 160 cm | Oversized Limited Edition (3 + 2 AP)
Photography on Aluminium | INNER CHILD SERIES
North Norfolk Coast, Summer 2020, © Katha Wood 2026
In the year 2020, following the suffocating grip of the first lockdown, the artist briefly tasted the nectar of freedom once again. She journeyed to Spain – a sojourn not just of place but of soul, to witness, explore, and heal.
CONTEMPLATION captures this dichotomy of emotion. It oscillates between shadows and luminescence, evoking an otherworldly, meditative trance. Within its depths, you'll find a blend of the mystique and the tangible, the agony and the ecstasy. Dive into its layers and perhaps, just perhaps, you'll touch the soul of that poignant time.
Available in Open Edition sizes from 20 cm and Limited Edition sizes reaching up to 140 cm on the short side.
