This is a Wasabi Gallery Editions original piece working with contemporary artist Gareth Tristan Evans (aka The Trunk of Funk). Evans has made a new interpretation of a design by Hasegawa Keika produced in a 1904-6 publication, Designs of Kyoto: A Collection of Designs for Silk and Cotton Textiles.
Hand painted Chevron and text in acrylics.
Framed in a contemporary flat framed tray frame. 100 x 145 cm
