An original artwork painted for weaver Felix Vanoutryve in the late 18th early 19th Centuary. The weaver used numerous design studios in the textile region of Roubaix, where the company had several Mills. They also selected work from Paris design houses. The work displays written notations that detail the weaves, pattern repeat and fabric quality selected for the art's transition to a woven furnishing jacquard woven fabric. A unique piece of Art from textile history.
