ON THE BEACH III was taken in July 2023 on Brancaster Beach, North Norfolk, UK - when an extraordinary dark navy blue, deeply threatening sky, loomed on the horizon, from the North West, overlooking the North Sea, whilst some were trying to enjoy a little bit of summer beach time.

The sequel to ON THE BEACH II, III, also printed directly onto aluminium has extraordinary qualities and contrasts with a solid navy blue sky, graduating through a choppy sea with silver white horses, where the metal is fully exposed, through to an iridescent beach of fast moving sand, in a wind that was whistling around our painfully sandblasted ankles. But this lone lady and her black Labrador dog were not deterred.
