The Relief of Spring
)
Original acrylic painting with charcoal, oil pastel, collage (mixed media) on canvas.
70cm x 100cm
This painting was created as an act of joy as darkness receded and spring flowers, Magnolia and Forsythia bloomed exuberantly towards the end of March. It contains many textured layers which have built a rich history of emotion beneath the beauty of the blooms.
