Theatre Series III (2013)

Greg Deda | Oil on Canvas | 91.5 × 91.5 cm

Theatre Series III is a striking exploration of architectural form, movement and light, showcasing Greg Deda’s ability to transform familiar structures into extraordinary visual experiences.

Bold, sweeping curves intersect with vivid columns of red, green and gold, creating a dramatic composition that blurs the boundaries between reality and abstraction. The rich crimson foreground, punctuated by luminous reflections, introduces an almost theatrical sense of depth and atmosphere.

Deda’s masterful use of colour, perspective and contrasting forms invites the viewer into a world where architecture appears fluid, light becomes tangible and conventional space is reimagined.

Painted in 2013, Theatre Series III exemplifies the artist’s distinctive approach to contemporary abstraction, combining technical precision with expressive freedom to create a visually commanding and immersive work of art.
