Adam Ralston is a painter working in oils directly from observation, creating his paintings on location. His practice centres on the experience of working from life, responding to his subjects as he encounters them rather than relying on photographic references.
Born in Lytham St Annes in 1970, Adam is a member of Manchester Academy of Fine Arts. He has exhibited with several established exhibiting societies, including the New English Art Club, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and the Royal Society of British Artists.
