Corinna Wilson aka Bob & Eve is a textile artist living and working in Brighton.  The psydonum Bob & Eve evolved from the words bobbin and weave in reference to Corinna’s love of creating art with textiles.   She grew up in a traditional household surrounded by tapestries, cross stitch and patchwork quilts made by her relatives which instilled in her a love of creating and traditional crafting techniques.  

Having studied Illustration at the University of Brighton Corinna worked as a digital illustrator for many years for a variety of clients including Fortnum & Mason.  She also founded a successful homewares company designing and making a range of bespoke products which were stocked worldwide in independent designs shops and high-end department stores including Selfridges and Liberty.  Looking for a way to create work which incorporated her love of craft and evoked a sense of nostalgia she began working with wool in 2020.  

Her colourful text based work explores the juxtaposition of traditional techniques, historically used by women in domestic settings, with an often irreverent commentary on modern relatable themes. 

More recently she has begun exploring the natural world in her work.  Using colour and texture to express the forms found in flowers, trees and plants.
