Estella is a Crewe-based artist and printmaker whose work draws inspiration from the coastal landscapes of North West Wales. Fascinated by the colours, textures and shapes of eroded natural forms, discarded objects and the remnants of disappearing industries, she transforms observations and memories of these environments into abstract imagery.

Working across a range of original printmaking techniques and increasingly exploring artists’ books, Estella captures the traces of time and human activity within the landscape.

Originally trained as a painter at Lancaster Polytechnic, she later gained a Master’s degree in Fine Art. Alongside her practice, she has extensive experience in community arts education and continues to lead occasional workshops in printmaking and book arts.
