Jayne Pellington
Manchester Academy of Fine Arts
Stand: 302
Jayne Pellington is a Manchester-based artist and printmaker whose work explores the changing urban landscape. Fascinated by the contrasts between historic industrial buildings, familiar landmarks and contemporary architecture, she captures the evolving character of cities through etching and linocut.
Working from photographs and observational drawings, Jayne takes an experimental approach to printmaking, allowing images to develop through mark-making, layered colour and the interplay of architectural shapes and forms.
A Fine Art graduate of Manchester School of Art, she has exhibited widely, including at the Royal West of England Academy, MOSTYN Gallery, Salford Art Gallery and the Hepworth Print Fair.
