Manchester Academy of Fine Arts Stand: 302
Kate McKennan is an artist based near Nantwich whose vibrant work explores natural forms through geometry, rhythmic movement, intricate pattern and colour. Inspired by artists including Escher, Bonnard and Matisse, her paintings reflect both a fascination with the natural world and growing concerns about environmental change.

Working predominantly in watercolour, Kate incorporates mixed media and found materials, alongside explorations in printmaking, sculpture and oil painting. Her compositions combine meticulous detail with an expressive sense of energy and movement.

A Fine Art graduate of Manchester College of Art and Design, she has exhibited internationally, including at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, ICA and Mall Galleries in London.
