I bring materials to life, making intricate animal sculptures that tell powerful stories. I have exhibited internationally, and I'm delighted to return to the fair for the second time.
'Mark explores our ancient bond with animals, especially horses. He creates mysterious horse rider sculptures from twisted wire, ceramics and salvaged remnants. Uncanny, and sometimes anatomical, they occupy a liminal space between memory and reanimation.'
Mark is an Associate of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists and has exhibited alongside Matisse in ‘Matisse and Contemporary Paper Artists’ at the Rheged Gallery 2022.
