Amadora is a multi-disciplinary artist living and working in Sheffield, specialising in portraiture and urban paintings inspired by her hometown. 

Using a maximalist style and vivid colours in her portrait paintings, her work aims to bring uplifting energy into a space, while capturing the character of her subjects through colour and expressive brushstrokes. 

Inspired by the external energy and vibrancy of city life, Amadora uses acrylic, oil pastel and spray paint to create layered paintings. She also explores the inner workings of thoughts and emotions, and aim to translate the dynamic nature of our inner world through colour. 

Amadora is a self-taught artist, with her artistic journey beginning in lockdown 2020. She now exhibits her paintings in galleries and shows across the UK, and her work is held in many private collections. She also works on commission, creating bespoke portrait paintings for clients.
