Jen Suyi, known artistically as J Suyi, is a self-taught London-based mixed media artist whose work moves between intuition and intention. Since 2018, she has created expressive abstracts that celebrate freedom, emotion, and the beauty of imperfection.

Her practice is a journey of exploration—an instinctive process where colours bleed, textures emerge, and control gives way to expression. Through layering, blending, and the interplay of metallic pigments, she creates vivid, tactile surfaces that invite reflection and feeling.

Guided by an intuitive, meditative process, J Suyi’s paintings often contemplate themes of existence, spirituality, resilience, and the human experience—how we live, adapt, and define ourselves within society. Each piece is both a question and an answer, an act of release and renewal.

Recently, she has extended her vibrant aesthetic into functional art, creating one-of-a-kind pieces that bring her signature texture and colour into everyday spaces.
