Also know as The Trunk of Funk (long story) Gareth is a UK artist based in the North West.  Gareth was born in Singapore but from his early teens grew up in a remote valley in mid Wales.  It was here - with little else to entertain - he began a lifelong passion for art and music.  After a career in the music industry his other passion art, has taken him on a new trajectory.  He is represented in the UK by several galleries and to date has 4 solo shows to his name and sells his work to collectors across the globe.

Currently presenting two series: Urban Geisha and My Fathers Books. 

Urban Geisha is an East meets West look at the subject matter. Using a multitude of media including digital, metal leaf, 3D elements and collage pieces Evans builds up layers to create instantly recgnizable, vibrant works.

My Father books began as a celebration of his father Trevor and his literary collection.  Books from the collection were represented in swallowtail butterly form.  This has now extended to to include Rock and Roll Butterflies and Box Office Butterflies.
