I have spent most of my life as an architect invo;ved with the regeneration of Manchester over the last 50 years, including Manchester Central, The Radisson Hotel, Chetham's School of Music and Hallé St Peters. Throughout those years I have always liked to paint and draw. I consider I was very lucky to have a teacher in my early years who taught at The Slade and was part of the group of painters such as Victor Passmore, Euan Uglow (my biggest influence) and Sir William Coldstream.

Now, in later life and am enjoying spending most of my time on artistic pursuits including some 3D bas relief work.
