Swati Sinha | Studio Kavachi

Swati Sinha is a UK-based visual artist working primarily with acrylics, inks and mixed media on canvas. Drawing on her Indian roots, sensory memories of tropical summers and the ever-changing beauty of nature, her work explores colour, texture and movement through expressive florals, atmospheric seascapes, landscapes and abstract compositions.

Her practice is characterised by a vibrant palette, intuitive mark-making and a distinctive use of texture, often created with palette knives, that brings depth, energy and luminosity to her paintings. Blending impressionistic influences with a contemporary sensibility, Swati seeks to evoke a feeling or a memory rather than simply depict a subject.

Alongside her studio practice, Swati has been a full-time artist and art tutor since 2019, exhibiting at several art fairs over the past seven years, including the Affordable Art Fair at Battersea, and building connections with collectors who are drawn to the colour, character and emotion in her work.

Manchester Art Fair marks Swati’s debut at the event, where she will be exhibiting alongside fellow artists Lesley Whelan and Max Kerly as part of Art in House Collective, a collective bringing together three distinct artistic voices through a shared passion for creating and exhibiting art.
