a Cheshire artist painting atmospheric and emotive landscapes and figures in oil. She often uses bold colours, applying the paint by brush, finger and palette knife to generate a textured surface. Her main inspiration comes from the beautiful Peak District,  also spending time with family in France. In my work, IShe says her aim is to shed light and love on a particular aspect of a scene - an old man walking, a lonely shed, the effect of sunlight on a street or how breath-taking the view is.
