Practice and Themes
Nancy’s still-life paintings explore how we bring nature into domestic spaces, from city gardens
to kitchen tables. Through bold colour, rich texture and uncluttered composition, she captures fruit, flowers and wildlife with a vivid presence.
Sustainability is central to Nancy’s practice. She repurposes everyday tools and materials,
using needles to paint dandelions and milk cartons to paint poppies, giving discarded objects a second life.
Background and Career
A self-taught artist, Nancy began exhibiting in 2019 after a 30-year career in the charity sector,
where she directed campaigns raising millions of pounds for good causes. Her artworks were quickly spotted online and gallery representation followed.
Gallery representation and recognition
Nancy has partnerships with 15 galleries across the UK and Ireland. Her work has been selected for numerous juried exhibitions, including the Society of British Artists in London and the Royal West of England Academy in her home city of Bristol. Her work attracts collectors around the world.
