Marjorie has worked in ceramics for over over 50 years but became more involved with it after retirement from education 15 years ago. Since then she has produced work of  a varied kind that supports  Salvage Gallery's ideals of making work from recycled and found materials . Combining her skills with the introduction of her own ceramic work to enhance, complement or reinforce the beauty of items we would normally ignore or throw away. She is concerned with the future of the planet and her work reflects this existential theme throughout
