Michaela
Gogova is a London-based painter whose abstract, minimalist work
explores the space between dreams, visual memories and imagination.
Working intuitively, she allows ideas, feelings and fleeting
impressions to guide the painting process, developing compositions
through what she calls 'a conversation with the canvas'.
Her practice brings together organic forms, geometric shapes and layered brushstrokes, balancing structure with spontaneity. Often beginning with a dream, a memory or a moment of inspiration, each painting unfolds on its own terms, inviting curiosity and leaving room for personal interpretation.
Self-taught, with additional training at Central Saint Martins, Michaela has exhibited her work in London galleries, art fairs and public spaces. Her paintings encourage viewers to pause, look beyond the familiar and discover their own associations, offering moments of reflection, imagination and quiet discovery within everyday surroundings.
