Vinatha Reddy

Vinatha is an Indian-born British artist based in London, England. Being immersed in two cultures has influenced all aspects of her life, including her creative side. This can be seen in her choice of colors and her layering of paint, which adds texture and makes her work unique and personal. She works with acrylic and mixed media, employing techniques such as impasto and sgraffito. Vinatha is passionate that her work should depict the beauty of the natural world and foster the desire to preserve it for future generations.
Outside of art Vinatha is a practicing physician. Her work in the medical field involves gathering information from different sources and converging to a single diagnosis. Conversely, when painting she starts from a central focus point and diverges outward to wherever her imagination takes her.
Vinatha has exhibited her artwork in several art fairs in London, Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition 2022, Agora Gallery, New York City, Galleria De’ Marchi, Bologna, Italy. She has launched her wearable art in collaboration with Empório Aragoã in Japan last year and in New York this year. She donated 57 of her paintings to raise money for a local charity in London to help people struggling financially during Covid. Vinatha’s art work has been bought by art collectors in Europe, Asia and North America.
