Peter Davis is an award-winning North West-based artist whose portraits and urban landscapes capture contemporary life. His work explores people and their surroundings through a distinctive approach to observational painting.

Exhibiting widely across the UK, Peter has been selected for prestigious exhibitions including the John Moores Painting Prize at Liverpool’s Walker Art Gallery and the Herbert Smith Freehills Portrait Prize at the National Portrait Gallery, London. His work is held in public and private collections.

A member of Contemporary British Portrait Painters and Castlefield Gallery Associates, Peter also serves as Archivist for the Manchester Academy of Fine Arts, a role he has held since 2022.
