Stand: 302
Sandra Robinson is a painter whose work explores the relationship between landscape, memory and personal experience. Inspired by walking and travel, her paintings are not traditional representations of place but what she describes as ‘headscapes’ – visual maps of thoughts, feelings and memories experienced while moving through the landscape.
Beginning with linear drawing in paint, pencil and charcoal, Sandra builds layers of colour and expressive marks, balancing intuition and spontaneity with considered composition.
A Fine Art Painting graduate of Manchester School of Art, she has exhibited widely across the UK, including at London's Bankside Gallery and the Royal West of England Academy in Bristol.
