Victoria Coleman

Punchbowl Gallery Stand: 635

Victoria has led a diversely creative life. Achieving a degree in metalwork and jewellery, she began her career in the prop making industry making costume props for films such as Star Wars and Gladiator, painted Disney characters to go in their flagship stores around the world and started a business making quirky soft furnishings.

She is now happiest painting at her home in Shropshire with her two wirehair dachshunds, springer spaniel and cat for company. Victoria's work has been shown at Edinburgh Art Fair, Fresh Art Fair and Manchester Art Fair with Punchbowl Gallery, and her 'artist cats' were used to promote Manchester Art fair 2023, where she also gave a talk.

Victoria’s paintings are bold and humorous, she uses water based scenic artist’s paints, collage and an air brush to capture the detailed characters and textures of her subjects. The prop maker in her never left and she also works in sculpture, creating a range of paper clay based mixed media animals. Brought up surrounded by dachshunds and chickens it is no surprise that animals are her favourite subject. Her love for all things furry or feathered shines out in her work.
