I am a contemporary artist exploring the transformation of traditional European cultural symbols within modern society, using classical fine art techniques and materials. My central subject is always the human being - particularly their search for grounding in the form of rituals, signs, and visual archetypes, as they adapt to the rapid shifts of contemporary life.

I believe childhood is a key period in which fundamental patterns of self-identity are formed. I find profound insight in the subconscious world of a child’s feelings, dreams, and sensory experiences. Rather than depicting children directly, I aim to create an indivisible artistic space that conveys both the integrity and fragility of the internal world in relation to the outer environment -a world in which the pure, unprotected young individual exists.

In my paintings, I deliberately use visual strategies rooted in icon painting and Symbolism, as they provide a language strong enough to convey hidden, subconscious emotional states. This approach allows for a direct, symbolic communication that transcends literal storytelling.

Through this approach, I aim to create a space for reflection -both for myself and for the viewer -where personal memories and collective symbols can resonate. I hope the work opens a dialogue with the emotional landscape of childhood and offers subtle tools for navigating the complexities of the contemporary world.
