Angela is a painter and member of Birmingham Artspace.She has exhibited broadly both regionally and nationally and has recently shown work in in Leeds and Wrexham. Angela makes images that operate as metaphorical reflections on contemporary life and the issues of our time, inflected through the history of painting, photography and culture more generally. Using exaggerated contrasts, limited or heightened colour and twilit worlds, sheaims to evoke a sense of the speculative and the uncanny, with a certain off kilter-ness.
