Rogue Women Stand: 119

Emmer Winder is a multidisciplinary conceptual artist with over 20 years’ experience teaching and facilitating socially engaged community workshops. Her personal practice is deeply political, reflecting cultural issues and events which have often affected children. An obsession with text and language is explored through the work. Its purpose is to emotionally connect to the audience, using the power of words to visually inform and question their understanding of the social engineering being constructed around us.

Previously exhibited with: Rogue Women at Rogue Artist Studios, The Manchester Contemporary and The Independents Biennial, Liverpool
