Ben is based at Venture Arts and makes large scale clay images informed by his personal influences: football, music and festival culture, rich with fluidity and movement.
In 2023, Ben was invited for a residency at Grizedale Arts and exhibited at Smolensky Gallery Manchester, Manchester Contemporary Art Fair and Grizedale Arts.
Public / Private Collections
During the Manchester Contemporary Art Fair 2023 a piece of Ben’s work was selected by The Manchester Contemporary Art Fund. Works are selected by Manchester Art Gallery curators, displayed by the gallery and then kept in their permanent collection, to be owned and enjoyed by the people of Manchester.
