Brian Raymond is an artist and lead tutor at Creative Art Courses, based at AWOL Studios in Manchester.

His artistic practise focuses on creating mixed-media drawings that express his experience of the places, people, and objects around him.  He experiments with materials, using line, colour, shape, and texture to explore visual connections and rhythms that reflect how he experiences his world. Deep observation and experience are the catalyst for developing his drawings which evolve by adding and removing marks, layering materials, and scraping back to create a rich, textured surface—a visual conversation that resonates with how he experiences his world.
