JOSEPH DOUBTFIRE - (b. 1993) is an artist based in Preston and working across the North West. my practice is a collage layered with ideas and approaches gathered over time these layers are both digital and physical often made with people, sometimes made alone involve collections and archives, the found and the overlooked take the form of an essay, a film, a virtual environment reflect ideas of value and worth ON DISPLAY: ‘Class Cut-up’ is part of a larger body of collaged works, which used students’ leftover materials, from Doubtfire’s time as a lecturer.
