Lela Harris is an award winning figurative artist, originally from Manchester but now living in Kendal. Her creative practice focuses on uncovering stories of those often overlooked by history and marginalised by society. Her work is inspired by historical research, storytelling and the use of different mediums, techniques and surfaces; resulting in an expansive portfolio of work with a strong focus on portraiture.
