Justin Addy
Justin Addy is an abstract painter. He often works on large scale canvases, creating layers of colour and texture. He makes sweeping gestural movements, working with large brushes and large mark making tools.
Addy has exhibited frequently across the North West over the last five years. His work has been shown previously at Manchester Contemporary, as well as at Grundy Art Gallery, Blackpool; Buzz Hub, St Helens; and Abingdon Studios, Blackpool. He is currently showing work as part of a public art commission in Blackpool, and has an upcoming collaborative project with Jason Wilsher-Mills MBE.
Addy is an artist with the pARTnership, which is a creative and professional development project bringing together people with and without a learning disability.
