I trained at Manchester School of Art graduating in 2005 with a BA Hons in Fine Art Painting. My work has been shown in galleries throughout the UK including The Bankside Gallery in London and The Royal West Academy (RWA) in Bristol. I am a member of the Manchester Academy of Fine Arts, and I have had a studio at AWOL since 2019.

I love walking in nature, and I see this is an extension of my studio practise.

When I walk I think about places I have visited, the landscape that surrounds me, thoughts on life and what is happening in the world.

 I like to work intuitively and rarely plan what I am going to do which I feel echoes the unpredictability of life and the intangibility of memory. My work is abstract, mixed media using various drawing materials and collage on canvas, board, paper, old book covers and book paper.
