Tina Dempsey

Abingdon Studios Project Space Stand: 228
TINA DEMPSEY- Dempsey’s practice is grounded in an immersive exploration of natural environments, particularly coastal landscapes. Spending extended periods in these places, she absorbs their essence through slow observation and sensory engagement. Each location becomes a collaborator, informing her process through collected field notes — photographs, prints, colour charts, and sound lists — that anchor memory and emotion. Alongside this research, intuitive rituals such as walking barefoot, touching stone, and moments of stillness deepen her connection to the land.
