Vahid Danaiefar (b. 1983, Tehran) received his bachelor’s degree in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Tehran Azad University of the Arts in 2007 and his master’s degree from Tehran Soore University in 2010.

His artistic journey begins with painting yet extends beyond the canvas into video art and installation, where he aims to amplify ideas through expanded forms. Through these mediums, the artist aims to make his ideas more visible in more intense and multilayered forms. His practice often revolves around social and political themes, exploring the complexities and paradoxes of contemporary Middle Eastern societies in the face of modernity.

His works have been showcased in solo and group exhibitions in international art centers such as Tehran, Dubai, Kuwait, London, and Bangkok. The artist is represented by Simbart Projects and lives and works in Istanbul.
